David Peterson allows six runs after scoreless debut

by Bruno Mulé | Mets Correspondent | Fri, Apr 3rd 9:57am EDT

Peterson threw 5.1 scoreless innings against Pittsburgh in his season debut March 28 but couldn't replicate that form Thursday in San Francisco. The Mets gave him a 1-0 lead in the top of the first before the Giants answered with three runs in the bottom half. Peterson gave up two more in the third and was charged with one additional run after departing in the fifth.

Fantasy Impact:

He struck out five but took the loss, allowing six runs — five earned — on nine hits and two walks across 4.1 innings.
