Shane Baz allowed one unearned run on three hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings in a 3-2 loss to the Pirates. He struck out five batters and tallied a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Baz has been solid in his first two starts of the season, registering a 3.27 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP over 11 innings. The right-hander was one out away from a quality start and did everything to keep the game close. He is expected to make his next start at home against the Giants.
