Tyler Freeman steals first base of season Saturday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sun, Apr 5th 9:34am EDT

Tyler Freeman made his first start of the year on Saturday and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base during the Rockies' 2-1 loss to the Phillies.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman started in right field and batted leadoff as Jake McCarthy exited the lineup on Saturday. Freeman was activated from the injured list on Wednesday and is 2-for-5 with a stolen base in two games played this season. The utilityman hit .281 with 18 stolen bases in 110 games for Colorado last season and the Rockies will likely utilize him all over the field to keep him in the lineup more often than not.
