Michael Lorenzen (0-1) allowed nine runs on 12 hits in three innings on Friday as the Rockies dropped a 10-1 decision at the hands of the Phillies.

Lorenzen surrendered seven runs in the first inning, one in the second, and one more in the third as he suffered his first loss in a Rockies' uniform. The veteran walked two and struck out two while throwing 77 pitches in three frames. Lorenzen has a 14.73 ERA through two starts and has allowed opponents to hit .475 as he has given up 19 hits in 7.1 innings. He is tentatively lined up to make his next start against Houston on Wednesday.
