David Bednar hangs on for save despite traffic against Marlins
by Chris Schommer | Yankees Correspondent | Sun, Apr 5th 9:47am EDT
David Bednar struck out two batters while allowing three hits, one earned run, and one walk to earn the save in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Bednar continues to escape despite allowing plenty of traffic on the bases to begin the season out of the bullpen, allowing runs in each of his last two appearances to go along with walks in three of four contests. The right-hander will look to fix his early-season command issues while continuing to pitch behind an explosive Yankees lineup for fantasy managers, carrying a 4.15 ERA and 2.31 WHIP with four saves and a 1.33 K/BB ratio across four appearances.
