Riley Martin pitches scoreless eighth in major league debut Monday

Riley Martin pitched around a one-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning in his major league debut on Monday against the Rays. The Cubs dropped a 6-4 decision in Tampa Bay.
Fantasy Impact:
Martin was called up over the weekend when Cade Horton was placed on the injured list. Martin got Junior Caminero to pop out before allowing a single to Chandler Simpson. However, Martin induced an inning-ending double play off the bat of Nick Fortes to preserve a scoreless debut. Martin will continue to fill a middle relief role for the Cubs, at least until Horton returns.
