Lefthander Shane Drohan will make his major league debut on Wednesday as he will start the series finale against the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park. (Adam McCalvy on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Drohan arrived in Milwaukee in an offseason trade with the Red Sox and the 27-year-old will make his major league debut against the team that drafted him in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB Draft. After a solid spring that saw him go 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA and a 15:4 K:BB ratio in 12.2 innings, Drohan made one start at Triple-A Nashville and allowed two runs on three hits while walking four and striking out six in 3.1 innings. He got the call on Monday to join the Brewers and will take the mound against a Red Sox team that has gotten off to a slow start in 2026. It's an intriguing matchup given that Drohan has strikeout stuff. However, he has a career ERA of 5.19 in 151 innings in Triple-A, so it would be best to leave him on the wire until seeing how his debut goes on Wednesday.
