Zach Eflin undergoes Tommy John surgery

Fantasy Impact:
Eflin was moved to the 60-day IL Tuesday which obviously meant the injury was going to cost him some time. We now know that the veteran will miss the remainder of the season and at least half of the 2027 season. Eflin was working on a one-year contract with a mutual option for the 2027 season.
