Winn's fastball averaged 94.1 mph over his first six outings — down about two mph from his 96.2 mph average across 33 appearances last year — but came back up to 95.8 mph Wednesday against Seattle. With Jakob Junis unavailable after earning saves in back-to-back days, Winn closed out the ninth inning to record his first MLB save.
Fantasy Impact:
He allowed a leadoff single to Cole Young before retiring Luke Raley, Cal Raleigh, and Julio Rodríguez in order, extending his scoreless streak to 6.1 innings to begin the season.
