Jakob Marsee swipes sixth bag of season Thursday

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Thu, Apr 9th 9:04pm EDT

Jakob Marsee went 0-for-4 with a walk, one run scored and a stolen base in Thursday’s 8-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Marsee has struggled at the plate to start the year, slashing .160/.271/.220 across 50 at-bats, but showed signs of life this series by going 4-for-16 with two walks and five stolen bases. While his bat has been a disappointment early on, he has made up for it on the bases with six steals on the season, which ranks second in the National League. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Marsee, as he has shown some signs of improvement at the plate.
