Michael Harris II placed on paternity list
by David Leisering | Braves Correspondent | Sat, Apr 11th 3:01pm EDT
Michael Harris II has been placed on the paternity list by the Atlanta Braves. He will be out of action for the next handful of games as he and his wife welcome their first child. The Braves have selected the contract of Luke Williams from Triple-A and Danny Young has been placed on the 60-day IL in corresponding moves. (Atlanta Braves on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Harris II went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday night's win over Cleveland. His performance upped his average to .235 (12-for-51) with two home runs and seven runs batted in. The Braves have some options while Harris II is out of action with the likeliest scenario being Eli White starts in center. However, Atlanta could also move Mauricio Dubon to center and start Jorge Mateo at short. Most importantly, congratulations to Money Mike and his wife, Esther.
