Lefthander Danny Young has been transferred to the 60-day IL to make room for utilityman Luke Williams on the 40-man roster. Williams was selected to the Braves' roster while Michael Harris II is on the paternity list. (Atlanta Braves on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Young had Tommy John surgery last May and isn't expected to be able to pitch until at least July. The lefthander was non-tendered by the Mets last November and the Braves scooped him up on a split contract with an eye on moving him to the 60-day IL once a 40-man spot needed to be opened. Young has made 63 big league appearances and has a 4.01 ERA with 78 strikeouts in 60.2 innings.
