Reds first baseman Nathaniel Lowe knocked in three runs as part of a 7-3 win over the Angels on Saturday.

Lowe blew the game open early for the Reds on Saturday afternoon, knocking a three-run double into right field in the bottom of the first inning to help stake the Reds to an early 4-0 lead. The 30-year-old has been used sparingly early in his Reds tenure as he has appeared in just nine games while logging 19 trips to the plate in that time. He is hitting .222 with two doubles, five RBI, and a .596 OPS to begin the season.
