Brandon Nimmo homers twice despite recent drought
by Bruno Mulé | Rangers Correspondent | Sun, Apr 12th 11:30am EDT
Nimmo is slashing .364/.435/.618 with three home runs, 10 runs, seven RBI, and a stolen base across 14 games this season. He had gone his previous 10 games without a home run — though he posted five multi-hit efforts during that stretch — before connecting twice Saturday against Los Angeles.
Fantasy Impact:
He opened the game with a solo shot off Emmet Sheehan before the Dodgers answered with four runs in the bottom of the first. Nimmo hit a two-run homer in the sixth to cut into the deficit, finishing 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI in the loss.
