Brett Sullivan provides only offense for Rockies Sunday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sun, Apr 12th 10:27pm EDT

Brett Sullivan went 1-for-3 with a two-run double on Sunday in the Rockies' 7-2 loss to the Padres.

Fantasy Impact:

Sullivan hit his two-run double in the top of the fifth off of Padres' reliever, Kyle Hart, to plate Colorado's only two runs of the day. The Rockies' catcher had Colorado's only extra-base hit and one of its two hits all afternoon. Sullivan has appeared in 10 games for the Rockies and is hitting .280 (7-for-25) with four runs batted in. Hunter Goodman normally serves as the Rockies' catcher, but he was the designated hitter on Sunday. Sullivan remains off the fantasy radar, but could earn himself more at bats if he keeps swinging a decent bat.
