Max Meyer settles for no-decision Tuesday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Wed, Apr 15th 3:38am EDT
Max Meyer allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five over five innings in Tuesday’s 6-5 loss to the Atlanta Braves.
Fantasy Impact:
Meyer allowed three earned runs for the first time since his season debut on March 29 against the Colorado Rockies. He ran into trouble early, surrendering one run in the second inning and two in the third, but settled in well, delivering scoreless frames in the fourth and fifth. He’s off to a solid start overall, posting a 4.12 ERA and 1.32 WHIP through four outings. Meyer will look to push past five innings for the first time this season in his next scheduled start on Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
