Wenceel Perez clubs first homer of the season Wednesday versus Royals

Tigers outfielder Wenceel Perez hit his first homer of the season in a 2-1 win over the Royals on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Summoned from Triple-A on Friday, Perez played hero on Wednesday, clubbing a go-ahead solo homer in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 1-1 tie in an eventual 2-1 Tigers victory. After failing to make the Tigers out of camp, Perez hit two homers with an .808 OPS in 10 Triple-A games before replacing the injured Parker Meadows on the Tigers roster. Perez posted a solid .738 OPS in 100 games with the Tigers last season, and he should be in for fairly regular at-bats with Meadows sidelined for at least a couple of months.
