Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal tossed six innings of one-run ball with 10 strikeouts in a winning effort over the Red Sox on Saturday.

Skubal cruised through the Red Sox on Saturday, allowing just one earned run on four hits and a pair of walks with 10 punchouts, notching his third win of the season in the process. The Tigers' ace threw just 89 pitches in doing so, as manager A.J. Hinch allowed the bullpen to come in and shut the door. Skubal will carry a tidy 2.08 ERA into his next scheduled start on Thursday against the visiting Brewers.
