Reds outfielder Will Benson stole his first base of the season in a 5-4 win over the Twins on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Benson singled and stole second base in the fifth inning, but did not come around to score. He added a walk to his ledger in three plate appearances before being lifted for pitch-hitter Dane Myers. Benson showed speed in his first two seasons in Cincinnati, with 37 stolen bases across 236 games between 2023 and 2024, but stole just two bases in 90 games last season. He has scuffled in limited playing time so far this season, hitting .188 without a homer and a .578 OPS across 37 plate appearances on the campaign.
