Bryce Elder works into seventh inning of Monday's win

by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Tue, Apr 21st 9:14am EDT

Bryce Elder allowed three earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six over 6 2/3 innings in Monday's 9-4 win over the Nationals.

Fantasy Impact:

Elder wasn’t exactly untouchable, but he battled past a two-spot in the first frame and the Braves' offense handled the rest. Now 3-1, Elder has had a tremendous start to the season, turning in a 1.50 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and 29-9 K/BB ratio while averaging exactly 6.0 innings per outing through five starts.
