Spencer Strider (oblique) dominates at Triple-A Gwinnett Tuesday

by David Leisering | Braves Correspondent | Tue, Apr 21st 9:35pm EDT

Spencer Strider (oblique) made his first rehab start at Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday and went 4.1 scoreless innings against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. (Grant McAuley on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Strider looked great according to multiple reports with his fastball velocity regularly between 96-98 mph. He allowed one hit, walked one, and struck out eight while throwing 65 pitches. It was his second rehab start as he works his way back from an oblique injury as he also made one start at High-A Rome. Strider is scheduled to make one more start at Gwinnett before he slots back into the Atlanta rotation. He'll likely aim for 80-85 pitches in his next start with the Stripers.
