Alek Thomas went 2-for-4 with a solo home run as Arizona dropped an 11-5 decision to the White Sox on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Thomas took White Sox' starter, Sean Burke, deep in the fifth inning for his first home run of the season. It snapped a 30-game homerless drought dating back to September 13 of last season. Thomas is showing signs of life at the plate and is on a modest four-game hitting streak, going 6-for-16 (.375) with three doubles, a home run, and three RBI during the stretch. Thomas has raised his average 63 points over the last four games, but is still hitting just .185 with a .559 OPS on the year.
