Oneil Cruz belts eighth home run of season Thursday

Oneil Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Thursday, but the Pirates suffered a 6-1 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz' two-out, fifth-inning blast was the only run that Texas starter, Jacob deGrom, in his 5.2 innings of work. The Pirates' centerfielder now has eight home runs on the year, tying him for second in the National League with six other players. Cruz has cooled off after his ridiculously hot start, going just 7-for-40 (.175) over his last nine games. He does, however, have three home runs and three stolen bases during that stretch. Cruz is still hitting .284 on the season with eight home runs, 23 RBI, and 10 stolen bases.
