Sean Burke allowed three hits to go along with four strikeouts over 7 1/3 scoreless innings in Sunday’s 2-1 loss to the Nationals.

Burke continues a steady stretch on the mound, allowing two earned runs or less in four of his last five trips to the mound. The right-hander continues to offer manager Will Venable a reliable option out of the White Sox rotation despite being victimized by inconsistent run support, posting a 3.21 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with a 1-2 record and 3.43 K/BB ratio through six appearances this season.
