Blue Jays right-hander Dylan Cease surrendered four earned runs across 5 2/3 innings while taking the loss on Monday against the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease labored in this one, yielding seven hits while walking three in his 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five. The right-hander failed to reach six innings for the fifth time in six starts this season despite throwing 107 pitches on the evening, the third straight start in which he has thrown at least 106 pitches. The veteran will look to bounce back in his next scheduled start on Saturday on the road against the Twins.
