Framber Valdez tosses quality start in win over Braves Thursday
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Thu, Apr 30th 11:56pm EDT
Tigers left-hander Framber Valdez tossed six innings of two-run ball while taking a no-decision in a 5-2 win over the Braves on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez scattered six hits but also struck out eight without walking a Braves hitter on Thursday afternoon. However, he was actually in line to take a tough-luck loss before the Tigers rallied late to steal a win in Atlanta and avoid a three-game sweep. The veteran southpaw will take a 3.35 ERA into his next scheduled start on Tuesday at home against the Red Sox.
