Lux has yet to make his Tampa Bay Rays debut while dealing with a right shoulder impingement and an ankle sprain. He suffered the ankle injury during a minor league rehab game on April 11 while running to first base. Although he resumed his rehab assignment on April 24, he continues to deal with ankle stiffness. While he was originally expected to be activated in early May once he resumed his assignment, the lingering stiffness could delay his Rays debut, and his return timeline remains unclear.
