Zach Neto swipes a pair of bases Friday
by David Leisering | Angels Correspondent | Sat, May 2nd 9:05am EDT
Zach Neto went 0-for-3 with a run scored, but did steal two bases on Friday during the Angels' 4-3 loss to the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Neto reached base in the third inning when he was hit by a pitch by Mets' starter, Christian Scott. He promptly stole second and then came in to score when Francisco Alvarez' throw, on Neto's steal of third, sailed into left field. The Angels' shortstop has now struck out at least twice in each of the last four games and is 2-for-17 with 11 strikeouts during the stretch - though he does have three stolen bases. Overall, Neto is hitting just .227 with five home runs and seven stolen bases in 33 games this season.
