Shota Imanaga went seven scoreless innings on Saturday, allowing only four hits while walking one and striking out five, as the Cubs blanked the Diamondbacks, 2-0.
Fantasy Impact:
Imanaga allowed three singles and a double on Saturday and did not allow a runner past second base in his seven shutout innings. It was the fifth time in seven starts that Imanaga has allowed one run or fewer and he has gone at least five innings in all seven of his appearances. The lefthander improved to 3-2 on the season and lowered his ERA to 2.40 - fifth-lowest in the National League. Imanaga is lined up to face the Reds on Thursday in his next start.
