by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, May 2nd 11:50pm EDT
Brennan Bernardino allowed two runs in the first inning on Saturday and suffered the loss as the Braves defeated the Rockies, 9-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Bernardino served as the opener for the Rockies and allowed a leadoff single to Ronald Acuna Jr. and then a two-run home run to Drake Baldwin as the Braves jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Ozzie Albies followed with a double, but he retired the next two batters before giving way to Chase Dollander. Bernardino dropped to 2-1 on the season, but still has an impressive 2.03 ERA in 13.1 innings. The home run he allowed to Baldwin was the first he served up this season.
