Chase Dollander hit hard in bulk relief role Saturday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, May 2nd 11:59pm EDT
Chase Dollander went 5.1 innings on Saturday and gave up six runs on eight hits in a bulk relief role as the Braves hammered the Rockies, 9-1.
Fantasy Impact:
Dollander had his worst outing of the season on Saturday and it came at the hands of the team with the best record in baseball. The righthander was brilliant in April, pitching to a 1.29 ERA with a 34:7 K:BB ratio in six appearances spanning 28 innings. However, the Braves got him for a run in the second, three in the fourth, and two in the fifth to blow the game open. Dollander is still having a strong sophomore season, with a 3-2 record, a 3.38 ERA, and 42 strikeouts in 37.1 innings. He is due up again on Friday against the Phillies.
