Ryan Vilade blasts three-run homer Monday

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Rays Correspondent | Mon, May 4th 9:51pm EDT

Ryan Vilade went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Monday's 5-1 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Fantasy Impact:

Vilade drew the start with left-hander Eric Lauer on the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays and took full advantage, launching a 413-foot home run to left-center field. He was later pinch-hit for in the fifth inning when right-hander Spencer Miles entered, but still made the most of his two at-bats. Vilade owns a .286 AVG and .738 OPS with one home run across 42 at-bats this season. He will need more consistent playing time before being worth consideration as a waiver wire pickup.
