Janson Junk fans six batters Monday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Mon, May 4th 10:16pm EDT
Janson Junk allowed one run on five hits and no walks while striking out six batters across 5.1 innings in Monday’s 1-0 loss against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
Junk picked up his third loss of the season despite allowing just one earned run. He was great once again, with his only mistake coming in the third inning when he left a sweeper over the plate that Bryce Harper hit for a 393-foot home run. Junk has been one of the biggest surprises this season, posting a 2.82 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 27 strikeouts across 38.1 innings pitched. He will look to deliver another solid outing for fantasy managers during his two-start week, with his next scheduled appearance on Saturday against the Washington Nationals.
