Stephen Kolek (oblique) will be activated from the injured list and will start Tuesday's game against the Guardians. Noah Cameron was scratched from his scheduled start due to lower back tightness. (Kansas City Royals on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Kolek will be making his season debut for the Royals on Tuesday after suffering a Grade 1 left oblique strain during spring training. He made four rehab appearances at Triple-A Omaha and posted a 2.76 ERA with a 14:4 K:BB ratio in 16.1 innings. Kolek made five starts for the Royals last season, after starting the year in San Diego,, and posted a 1.91 ERA over 33 innings.
