Noah Cameron (back) scratched from Tuesday start with lower back tightness

by David Leisering | Royals Correspondent | Mon, May 4th 11:33pm EDT

Noah Cameron (back) has been scratched from Tuesday's start against the Guardians due to lower back tightness. Stephen Kolek (oblique) will be activated from the IL to make his season debut for the Royals on Tuesday. (Kansas City Royals on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Cameron was in line to make his seventh start of the season on Tuesday, but will miss the start with back tightness. In his six starts this year, Cameron is 2-2 with a 5.40 ERA and a 28:11 K:BB ratio. It's unclear when Cameron will make his next start. He may just be pushed back, or the Royals may decide to skip his turn in the rotation this time around, altogether, depending on the severity of the injury.
