Edward Cabrera allowed five runs on seven hits in five innings as he suffered his first loss of the season on Saturday against the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Cabrera walked one and struck out six, but allowed two home runs and has now served up seven blasts over his last four starts. While his 26:4 K:BB ratio over his last four outings has been a positive, Cabrera has given up at least one home run and at least three runs over the same stretch. He started the year by not allowing a run in his first two starts, covering 11.2 innings. But, in his last six outings, Cabrera has pitched to a 5.19 ERA. Overall, he is 3-1 with a 3.88 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP in 46.1 innings. He's scheduled to square off against the White Sox on Friday in his next start.
