Chase Burns earns win over Astros Saturday
by Brenton Kemp | Reds Correspondent | Sun, May 10th 12:32pm EDT
Reds right-hander Chase Burns pitched six innings of one-run ball while earning his fourth win of the season on Saturday against the Astros.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith allowed four hits and two walks on the day, as a solo homer to Braden Shewmake in the fifth inning would count as his lone blemish in this one. Burns would get the win after the Reds rallied for three runs in the bottom half of the frame. The 2024 second overall pick has been fantastic this season, posting a 2.11 ERA to go along with a 4-1 record through eight starts on the campaign. He will take on the Guardians on the road in his next scheduled start on Friday.
