Slade Cecconi allowed zero earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven over four innings in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Cecconi unfortunately didn't stick around long enough to be eligible for the win, but this was an encouraging sign in what has been a frustrating season for the pitcher. After the 3-2 victory, he now carries a 5.60 ERA and 1.58 WHIP with a 2-4 record through nine starts. His next start will be Monday against the Tigers.
