Andrew Painter gave up just one run on four hits with no walks while striking out four over five innings in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
After surrendering eight earned runs in less than four innings last time out, Painter needed an outing like this. Aside from a second-inning solo homer, the rookie kept the Red Sox in check. Painter will look to build off this effort Monday against the Reds.
