Chris Sale strikes out eight in tough luck loss
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Fri, May 15th 8:39am EDT
Chris Sale allowed one unearned run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over six innings in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Sale surprisingly received zero run support from the Braves bats and an error led to the only run he surrendered Thursday. The ace lefty, now 6-3 through nine starts, sports a sparkling 1.96 ERA and 0.91 WHIP with 64 strikeouts over 55 innings on the year. At 37, Sale is still among the top few starting pitchers in the league.
