Sandy Alcantara allowed zero earned runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out six over six innings in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Since giving up seven earned runs on May 5 against the Baltimore Orioles, Alcantara has bounced back with consecutive quality starts. He was excellent on Saturday, issuing no walks for just the second time in 10 starts this season while striking out six batters. Alcantara now owns a 3.53 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with 45 strikeouts across 63.2 innings. His next scheduled start is on Thursday against the Atlanta Braves.
