Tomoyuki Sugano picks up milestone victory Saturday

Tomoyuki Sugano went five innings on Saturday and allowed two runs on seven hits, walked two, and struck out one in the Rockies' 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Sugano improved to 4-3 on the season and earned his 150th career victory between his time in Japan and in the majors. It was his 14th big league win in 39 career starts after going 136-75 in 12 seasons in Japan. Sugano's outing on Saturday was the sixth time in nine starts that he has allowed two earned runs or fewer in a game this season. The veteran has a respectable 4.02 ERA in his first season with Colorado and is scheduled to face Arizona again on Thursday in the desert.
