Brenton Doyle scores twice, steals base in victory Monday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Tue, May 19th 7:16am EDT

Brenton Doyle went 1-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a stolen base to help the Rockies to a 7-6 win over the Rangers on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Doyle walked and scored in the first then laced an RBI single, stole second, and scored in the fifth. It was his ninth stolen base of the season, tying him for eighth-most in the National League. However, it has not been a great start to his season as he is slashing just .207/.279/.270 across 42 games. And, after hitting 38 home runs combined in 2024 and 2025, Doyle has just one home run in 111 at bats this season. His playing time has taken a hit in a crowded Colorado outfield and is just 5-for-27 (.185) in 11 appearances this month.
