Michael Lorenzen struggles against Arizona on Sunday

Michael Lorenzen allowed seven runs - six earned - on nine hits with three walks and five strikeouts in 4.2 innings on Sunday as the Diamondbacks defeated the Rockies, 8-6.

Fantasy Impact:

Lorenzen surrendered two home runs - one each to Corbin Carroll and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. - and failed to get through five innings in a start for the fourth time this season. The righthander allowed nine more hits on Sunday and has given up an alarming 76 hits in just 48.2 innings this season, leading to a .353 opponents' average. He has given up the most hits in the majors and is also tied for the major league lead with six losses. Lorenzen is 2-6 with a 7.03 ERA and a 1.91 WHIP in 11 appearances (10 starts) this season. He's tentatively scheduled to pitch against Arizona again on Friday.
