The young movement continues for the Mets. Morabito, a second-round draft pick from 2022, will head up to the majors next. The 23-year-old speedster has played 41 games for Triple-A Syracuse this season, slashing .253/.364/.390 with four homers and 14 steals across 175 plate appearances. Austin Slater will be designated for assignment to make room for Morabito.
