Trey Yesavage blanks Yankees over six in 2-1 win

by Chris Schommer | Blue Jays Correspondent | Thu, May 21st 5:32pm EDT

Trey Yesavage allowed two hits while striking out eight over six scoreless innings in Wednesday's win over the Yankees.

Fantasy Impact:

Yesavage continues a strong stretch on the mound since returning from injury, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his five starts. The right-hander continues to provide manager John Schneider with one of the more electric starting options as part of an injury-riddled Blue Jays rotation, carrying a 1.07 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with a 2-1 record and 10.3 K/9 ratio across five starts.
