by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Thu, May 21st 10:50pm EDT
Henry Davis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run on Thursday, helping the Pirates to a 6-2 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Davis hit his solo home run off of Justin Bruihl in the seventh inning for his third blast of the season. The home run snapped a 1-for-29 skid at the plate since his two-homer game against the Reds on May 1. Overall, it has been a dismal season for Davis as he his hitting .143 with three home runs, nine RBI, and a .515 OPS in 98 at bats. He should still get a majority of the action behind the plate while Joey Bart remains on the shelf.
