Nolan Schanuel provides lone offense in loss Thursday
by David Leisering | Angels Correspondent | Fri, May 22nd 6:54am EDT
Nolan Schanuel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run as the Angels suffered a 3-2, 10-inning loss to the Athletics on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Schanuel hit a first-inning shot off of Luis Severino to give the Angels a 2-0 lead. Those, however, would be the only runs Los Angeles would score as the A's came back to win. It was Schanuel's fourth home run of the year, but his first since April 22 against Toronto. He started the year with two homers in his first three games but has hit just two over his last 44 games. Overall, the first baseman is batting .251 on the year with 11 doubles, four homers, and 22 RBI in 47 games.
