Cristopher Sanchez fired eight shutout innings in Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Guardians, giving up just four hits and two walks while striking out six.
Fantasy Impact:
Sanchez is approaching history, as he ran his scoreless innings streak to 37 2/3 innings Friday night. The Phillies still managed to end up on the losing side of this pitcher's duel, but that doesn't take away from Sanchez's run of dominance as far as fantasy managers are concerned. The ace southpaw will carry an excellent 1.62 ERA into his next start on Wednesday in San Diego.
