Slade Cecconi decent, but Guardians' bats stay silent

Slade Cecconi allowed three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over five innings in Saturday's loss to the Phillies.

Cecconi did enough to keep it close, but he didn't get so much as a courtesy run to work with. He now owns a 5.18 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with a 3-5 record across 11 starts. Cecconi has shown improvement after a rough start to the season. His next start will come on Friday against the Red Sox.
